THERAPY SERVICES
FEES
Fee is $150/session
I can also work with out-of-network clients; I bill/charge a credit card (or HSA/FSA) that you put on file, and then I send you a superbill at the end of each month. You then submit that superbill to your insurance and they will reimburse you at a rate that you have agreed upon. If you would like to utilize your insurance please visit www.blankslatetherapy.com.
There is a full-price late cancellation/no-show fee if notification is not provided 24-hours prior to the scheduled session time.
LOGISTICS
- Screening and intake paperwork must be submitted prior to booking your first appointment
- Regular length sessions are usually around 50 minutes
- Accepted payments: all major credit cards (including HSA/FSA cards)
IN-OFFICE SERVICES
What to expect:
- In the first session, I will review a description of your problems and goals, what you hope to gain from therapy, and ultimately determine if the therapeutic relationship is a good fit.
- Services provided to minors will require parental participation; family sessions will be scheduled throughout the course of treatment.
- For family sessions, all family members are required to attend the first session.
- For family sessions, any changes to the attending family constellation will be negotiated in advance; otherwise, all family members are expected to attend each session.
- Sometimes homework is assigned!

TELEHEALTH SERVICES
What to expect:
- The same parameters listed for in-office services are expected in telehealth services.
- Telehealth services are conducted on SimplePractice, a HIPAA compliant platform; participants will receive invitations and passcodes to a unique telehealth room for each of their sessions.
- Families can log in together, or independently.
- Participants must have a space in which no other people are around or have access to overhearing the session in order to maintain confidentiality. If the potential for breaches of confidentiality are suspected, the session will immediately end.
- Participants must have a reliable internet connection, visual capacity, and audio capacity (use of headphones is encouraged).
